H.M.S. Curacoa was one of nine Comus Class corvettes completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Devonport on 24 February, 1880.[6]

Re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 28 March, 1883.[7]

The vessel participated in the Jubilee Naval Review and possibly the Annual Manoeuvres of 1897.[8]
