Torpedoboot SMS S23, 1913S23 was a destroyer, or "Torpedoboot" as the Germans usually termed their slightly-smaller destroyers. The "Segelriss" drawing is the most curiously amateur-like drawing in my collection... almost like a bit of refrigerator art. Incidentally, it depicts how to rig a sail from the mainmast, presumably in case of emergency engineering failure. There is more data on S23 and her sister ships at German-Navy.de.
