Unprotected Cruiser SMS Geier, 1894

Geier was an unprotected cruiser interned in Hawaii shortly after war broke out that later served in the American fleet as USS Schurz before being sunk in a collision. This is not the captured merchant ship given that name and employed as an auxiliary cruiser the Germans later in the war.
