Design for 'Schnellboot-Begleitschiff', 1938This is a design study for a tender of 'Schnellboot' (S-boot), or small torpedo attack vessels not unlike American PT boats or British MTBs. In general, Schnellbooten were smaller than the famous German E-boats. Guido Sambucetti writes and informs me that he thinks this is the Carl Peters, though I suppose it could possibly be her sister, Adolf Luderitz.
