Modeller Tone Source Shipyard Plans for HMS Acheron (1911) from the National Maritime Museum Grid Size 1 mm Scale 1/48 This fitting could doubtless be improved, but it's proportions match HMS Acheron's plans closely. It is difficult to tell if all fittings of the same size/function would be of the exact same design. I imagine this had a helm indicator mounted on it, but did not know what this looked like. The wheel is Tone's design, but damn good looking! This item would likely be brass, with a wooden wheel -- I guessed at Teak, but mahogany is probably better?
